Mock Placements has been the annual event of FORESE for the past 20 years. Over a hundred recruiters, from different spheres of the industry, come in to interview the candidates enrolled for this event. The Mock Placements give a practical idea of how the actual placements will take place, giving the students ample time to analyze and ameliorate their shortcomings.
There are plenty of jobs, of course, but there is also stringent competition to match the availability. The event gives students an insight on requirements of the industry, identify areas of potential improvement and rectify their shortcomings.
The recruiters get a chance to identify skilled individuals whom they can recruit during placements and offer internship opportunities to deserving candidates.
